ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi, you will be warmly welcomed by a travel representative for a comprehensive trip briefing. Transfer smoothly to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, meet your professional driver-guide and drive southeast toward Amboseli National Park, famous for giant elephant herds and framed by snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for camp check-in and lunch. In the late afternoon, set out on your first game drive to capture stunning photos of wildlife against the backdrop of Africa’s highest peak before returning for dinner.

Day 3: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Begin with a dawn game drive to watch the sunrise over Kilimanjaro as animals become active. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the middle of the day relaxing by the pool or enjoying the tranquil surroundings. Following lunch, head out on an afternoon game drive through open plains and marshlands to spot lions, zebras, cheetahs, and majestic tusker elephants.

Day 4: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
Check out after breakfast and take a scenic five-hour drive to Lake Naivasha, located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive for lunch and check-in at your lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a freshwater boat safari to watch resident hippos and diverse birdlife, followed by a guided walking safari among gentle herbivores on Crescent Island. Conclude the day with traditional High Tea and dinner.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart Naivasha after a leisurely breakfast for a four-hour drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Check in to your tented camp and enjoy lunch overlooking the vast grasslands. At 4:00 PM, venture out for an afternoon game drive in search of big cats and wildlife. Return to camp by 6:00 PM to unwind around the evening bonfire before a delicious dinner.

Day 6: FULL DAY AT MASAI MARA.

Take an early morning game drive across the savannah before returning to camp for breakfast. Afterward, embark on an hour-long guided nature walk within the camp’s secure grounds to learn about local botanical species, insects, and birdlife. Enjoy lunch and downtime before heading out for another late-afternoon game drive across the reserve.

Day 7: Full-Day Safari Adventure in the Mara
Spend a full day exploring the expansive ecosystems of the Masai Mara. Armed with a packed picnic lunch, your expert guide will navigate through prime wildlife zones in search of the legendary “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), as well as river-dwelling hippos and Nile crocodiles. Enjoy lunch under the shade of a Croton tree surrounded by classic African scenery before returning to camp at sunset.

Day 8: Masai Mara to Nairobi & Departure

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out for the 5-to-6-hour return drive to Nairobi. Savor a farewell lunch at a local restaurant, featuring authentic regional dishes. Time permitting, explore local craft markets for souvenirs before transferring to JKIA for your international flight home.
