Uganda christened as the ‘Pearl of Africa’ by Winston Churchill, a former British prime minister is a landlocked country located in East Africa. The country is bordered on the east by Kenya, on the north by South Sudan, on the west by Democratic Republic, on the southwest by Rwanda and on the south by Tanzania. The southern part of Uganda is covered by a portion of Lake Victoria which is also shared with Kenya and Tanzania. The country lies within the Nile basin and its climate varies but it’s generally tropical with temperature ranging from (21-25°C) apart from the mountainous areas which are much cooler. The hottest months are December to February and also June to September which is the ideal time to visit Uganda especially for gorilla tracking and hiking as well.
