Down to the Kenya coast, Mombasa has several key MICE venue, elegant accommodation and palm fringed beaches. The city is also filled with a vibrant mix of cultures, with influences from India, Arabia and Africa combining to make an unmissable destination. Combining the harbor of Mombasa and cost beyond is Fort Jesus, a Portuguese fort dating from the 16th Century. Arguably the city’s most famous landmark, it is now a Unesco World Heritage Centre. Next to the fort is Mombasa’s Old Town also a Unesco site, where local history can be traced in its intricately carved doors and fine buildings.
On the city’s north coast, linked by a bridge to Mombasa Island, is Nyali, an upmarket residential area boosting some of the best accommodation and beaches and in the area.
